In this course, you will:
– Learn the foundations of Islamic finance and business ethics
– Understand halal and haram transactions
– Explore the principles of valid contracts and fair dealings
– Identify prohibited elements such as riba (interest), gharar (excessive uncertainty), and deception
– Gain practical guidance on retirement planning, 401(k)s, IRAs, and Shariah-compliant investing
– Examine contemporary issues including AI, cryptocurrencies, options, and other financial products
– Develop the knowledge and confidence to make informed, Shariah-compliant financial decisions
All are welcome – the course is free.
Those who would like to receive an ijaza upon completion may do so by taking a final exam for a $20 fee.
